I’m Teri…
I’m a creative introvert who loves to make things including creative tools, and opportunities for learning— all out of my creative practice and life experiences.
In all things, art and yoga, I weave and collage moments of physical gestures with experience to encourage practitioners to value their own efforts, discover super powers and realize personal strengths. Largely based in the 8 Limbs of Yoga, my work is inspired by nature and the resilient layers within the human essence.
As the current owner of a transitioning, Park Slope Yoga Center, (Brooklyn) I’ve been teaching yoga since 2010. I’ve had the privilege of sharing my practice within community, teaching oncology yoga and mentoring newly trained teachers through The Yoga4Cancer Foundation. My practices have supported my breast cancer experience and diagnosis since 2016. I’ve come to understand and passionately teach yoga as a practical practice, and method for living and balancing everyday challenges.
